Congratulations to Kate McGowan, from NCAD, winner of the Racing Colours competition!
Kate has been a prestigious internship with celebrated womenswear designer and judge of the Racing Colours competition, Richard Malone, in his London studio.
Aimed at undergraduate and recent graduate fashion design students, the Racing Colours competition marks a new collaboration between Kildare Village and The Curragh to launch the 2017 Summer Racing Season. As part of the ‘From the Isle’ initiative, the Racing Colours Competition draws on the heritage of horse racing in Ireland and modern fashion design.
The elite judging panel comprised of Irish and international fashion and industry experts including Richard Malone, Paula Reed, Deirdre McQuillan, Rosie McMeel and Kate Harrington.
Congrats to all the finalists on their fantastic designs which can be viewed in the Village exhibition, located next to Tourist Information.
