Artist Spotlight: Lisa Lambe

Irish singer and actress Lisa Lambe is one of Ireland's most sought-after performers. Her debut solo album Hiding Away which was recorded in Nashville was received to great critical acclaim in Ireland and the US. Lisa has collaborated with many artists including Hothouse Flowers, Liam Ó’Maonlaí and Paul Brady. She has performed with John Sheahan, Mundy, Damien Dempsey, Eddi Reader, Declan O'Rourke, Jack L, Mark Geary, Roesy, Sean Keane and others.

Lisa is currently artist-in-residence at Killruddery House, Bray, Co. Wicklow where she has written and recorded a new original album with Fiachna O’Braonain, Martin Brunsden, Liam Ó’Maonlaí, Colm Mac Con Iomaire and Jim Lockhart. The album is due for release at the end of 2017.

Lisa recently performed at Glastonbury and this summer she returns to the Abbey Theatre for Jimmy’s Hall. She will be performing in Trieste, Paris, Glebe Gardens Baltimore, Cornwall and London and headlines Dalkey Jazz Festival in August. Lisa will perform at Kildare Village with John McLoughlin, one of Ireland’s finest guitar players.

Lisa will perform at the Village on Sunday 6 August at 13.00, 15.00 and 17.00 at the Oak Tree (Tommy Hilfiger).
