In celebration of the spring launch, a stunning piece of 3D artwork has been unveiled at Kildare Village, designed by esteemed street artist, Maser.
Maser was commissioned to create a piece of artwork to animate the spring at Kildare Village which will be in situ at the Village until Thursday, 16 March. Spanning 25 meters long, the piece comprises a selection of 2D and 3D pieces, incorporating a selection of vibrant colours and patterns, infused with dazzle camouflage in a way that only Maser could execute.
In 2016, Kildare Village launched From the Isle campaign, an exciting project that continuously seeks to weave together diverse threads of Irish talent across fashion, craftsmanship, food, cultural outreach and art. Following the successful launch of Só Collective and the inaugural Kildare Village Fashion Bursary programme, commissioning Maser to design a piece for the launch of the new season in the Village is the first of this year’s exciting announcements.
Maser’s passion and drive has awarded him the opportunity to paint walls across many countries, including; Ireland, UK, Austria, Germany, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United States. His work has also been exhibited at IFPDA Print Fair 2014, New York, Ink Miami and Expo Chicago and in 2014 he was selected by U2 as one of 11 artists to produce a series of graffiti-inspired films based on the band’s album, Songs of Innocence. Most recently, Maser has just received the first Guaranteed Irish Hero Award for his contribution to contemporary Irish art.
