Shoe making demonstrations with Shoeniversity

Visit Irish shoemaking company, Shoeniversity in the guest lounge next to the Belstaff boutique on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April for drop-in shoemaking demonstrations from 11-1pm and 2.15-5pm.
Plus, learn the history of modern footwear design from 1850 to the present day from 1-2pm each day.

Shoeniversity is Ireland’s newest, most pioneering shoe company producing handmade dynamic footwear of the highest quality for world markets.
Shoeniversity bases its training on the 19th Century method of training people in Couture.

They are passionate about reviving the lost art of artisan shoemaking, so offer a range of learning opportunities in footwear. 
You can train with expert shoemakers and designers to make your own shoe ranges.
Their courses are held in the beautiful setting of The Garden Folly, Creamery House, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny and range from half-day leisure courses to 16 week intensive technical shoe design and manufacture training.
