Kildare Village are collaborating with The Kildare Gallery on an open air sculpture exhibition. Twenty-four sculptures will take up residence on the grounds of the Village from mid-June until the 22 July and will be available to purchase through the gallery.
The exhibition is part of Kildare Village’s Art project which will see us bring more art to the Village in 2019, opening up art to our guests and making it accessible to all.
“The Kildare Gallery’s sculpture at Kildare Village is an outdoor sculpture trail, removing art from the confines of gallery walls, transforming the village into an outdoor gallery. The exhibition will allow visitors to view art from a unique perspective.” – The Kildare Gallery.
The exhibition includes some of Ireland’s top sculpture artists including Stephanie Hess, Donnacha Cahill, Liam Butler and Ronan Butler, Ray Delaney and Eleanor Swan to name a few.
The Kildare Gallery itself is run by Ruth Liddle and Ken Folan and is located in Carton House in County Kildare, however, not content with one gallery space they often take their works off site, most recently to Bloom 2019, which was very successful for them.
